Once a conversation is finished, it's important to close it to keep your inbox organized. Here is how to close a conversation in your inbox. Closing a conversation in TrackStat removes it from the 'Open' inbox view, helping maintain an uncluttered and organized workspace.
Note that when a patient texts your office number, the conversation will automatically open in your inbox. If a conversation is marked as closed but receives a new incoming message, it will automatically reappear in the 'Open' inbox to ensure no important communication is missed.
To close a conversation, simply click on the lock icon at the top right corner of the conversation. This will mark the conversation as closed and remove it from your inbox. Closing does not delete the conversation, nor does it alter any messaging settings—it simply changes its status for better organization.
Once a conversation is closed, you will see a red text below the name and phone number of the patient. This indicates that the conversation is closed. However, this status does not mean the patient has opted out of receiving future communication. To confirm this, check the communication preferences for that individual.
Filtering Your Inbox
If you want to see only open conversations in your inbox, you can use the filter feature. Click on the "Conversation" button at the top left of your inbox and select "Open" from the dropdown menu. This will only show conversations that are currently open. To maintain an organized inbox, consider regularly reviewing communication preferences, actively monitoring notifications for reactivated threads, and closing conversations that are no longer relevant.
