Yes, open the Inbox.
Click on the yellow "+ Add Message" button on the top right header.
Select "Non - patient"
Enter name and cell phone number and/or email address.
Compose message and send.
Note: The First Name and Last Name fields are required to send a text or email. If you do not have the non-patient’s last name, enter at least one character as a placeholder and update it later; otherwise, the “Send” button will remain disabled.
Please also note how the system handles this data:
No EHR Syncing: Texting or emailing an unknown contact does not automatically create a new patient profile in your EHR (e.g., ChiroTouch, Genesis).
Not Searchable: The non-patient will not appear in the standard TrackStat Patient Search.
Inbox Only: The conversation thread will only be visible within your main Inbox, where you can search for and continue managing the messages.
This feature can be used to text or email leads or attorneys.
