Our clinic recently starting using (switched to) a new EHR/EMR software and would like access to both our new and our original TrackStat accounts. When we log in to TrackStat we would like to see the data from our our new EHR/EMR software as the default. Currently we have to toggle between the accounts and the data related to our old or original EHR/EMR software is the default.
Transferring a user to a new account in TrackStat is a simple process, but it must be done by a TrackStat Support representative for at least one Administrator user. This ensures that the transfer is completed accurately and securely.
Step 1: Delete User from Old/Original Account
In order to transfer a user to a new account, they must first be deleted from the old/original account. This can be done by a TrackStat Support representative or by an Administrator user with the appropriate permissions.
Step 2: Add User to New Account
Once the user has been deleted from the old/original account, they can be added to the new account. This must be done by a TrackStat Support representative to ensure that the user is added correctly and securely.
Step 3: Gather User Information
Before the transfer can be completed, it is important to gather all necessary information about the user. This includes their first name, last name, email address, and role within the account. Additional information such as phone number and position can also be gathered if needed.
Step 4: Log Out Users from TrackStat
Once the user has been transferred to the new account, they will be automatically logged out of TrackStat.
Step 5: Inform Users of Changes
It is important to inform the user of the changes that have been made. They will no longer have access to the old/original account and will need to log in to the new account with their new credentials.
Step 6: Temporary Password and New Password Creation
Users who have been transferred to a new account will be sent a temporary password via email. They will then need to log in to the new account and create a new password for security purposes.
Step 7: Relink User to Original Account (if needed)
If the user still needs access to the original account, they will need to be relinked to it. This can be done by a TrackStat Support representative or by an Administrator user with the appropriate permissions.
And that's it! The user has now been successfully transferred to the new account and can continue using TrackStat with their new credentials.
It is important to note that during the transfer process, users will lose all saved filters and settings. This is because they are being transferred to a new account with different settings and configurations. However, they will still have access to all of their data and can continue using TrackStat as usual.
