Use the Standalone Feature in Online Scheduling Settings

When creating groups for appointment purposes in Extras (3 dots icon) > Scheduling > Settings > Provider Availability make sure to select "Standalone" to ignore all other appointment types on the schedule for the same provider.

Create a separate Provider for new patient appointments

You may want to set up an additional provider in your EHR using a slightly different variation of the provider’s name. That way there will be a separate column on the scheduler for new patients increasing availability for online scheduling and minimizing scheduling conflicts.
