Campaigns - Appointment Reminders - Using Tags

Updated over 2 months ago

What can you do with this feature? Here are some ideas:

  1. Appointment reminders in your patients' native language

    • If you have patients who only speak Spanish, you could have an appointment reminder in Spanish.

    • First, create a standard appointment reminder with a Spanish exclusion tag for English-speaking patients. This will prevent those Spanish speakers from receiving these appointment reminders.

    • Next, create an identical appointment reminder with a Spanish inclusion tag to create an appointment reminder in Spanish.

    • Both groups of patients will receive the correct appointment reminder in their native language.

    1. Patients who do not want appointment reminders for most appointments.

      • Example: Patients do not want most appointment reminders except for certain appointments.

      • Create an exclusion tag for those patients in appointment reminders you want to exclude those patients

    2. You have two appointment reminders for your appointments, but you have some patients who only want one reminder.

      • You could create an exclusion filter to remove those patients from the second reminder.

    3. You have a parent who does not want reminders for their children's appointments.

      • You could create an exclusion filter to remove those patients from the appointment reminders.

    4. You have a patient who only wants email reminders

    5. When you set up appointment reminders, you can filter by:

      • Appointment type/purpose

      • Provider

      • Casetype (for some EHRS)

      • Tags

Tags can include a group of patients or exclude a group of patients. You can set this up yourself or schedule a message with us in the chat for help with this feature.

  2. See examples below

    1. You would have an identical reminder in Spanish for appointment reminders in Spanish with a (+) tag for Spanish in this example.
