Stats - Daily/Weekly - The Day 1 and Day 2 stats don't seem quite right on the Stats reports? What could be causing this?

If the new patient and second visit statistics do not seem correct, please see possible explanations below:

  • If CPT codes (services) are entered on a patient's ledger prior to the patient's first appointment they will not be counted properly in the Day 1 and Day 2 stats. If a payment (without a CPT/service code) is entered on a patient's ledger prior to their first appointment the Day 1 and Day 2 stats will be accurate.

  • New patients have multiple appointments in the same day - that means that the Day 1 and Day 2 appointments will show up on the same day on the statistics reports. For clinics that schedule new patients with multiple appointments in the same day, we recommend tracking statistics by appointment purpose instead. Appointment purposes statistics can be found on the Practice Summary report as well as on the Custom Reports.
