Where to Find Collections Per Visit Average (CVA) Statistics in TrackStat

Collections Per Visit Average (CVA) is an essential metric that shows the average revenue collected per patient visit within a specified time period. It is calculated as:

Collections Per Visit = Total Collected Payments ÷ Total Visits

TrackStat provides multiple ways to access and calculate CVA statistics. Here’s how you can find and use this data effectively:

Reports Containing CVA Statistics

  1. Monthly Scoreboard

    1. Navigate to Stats > Monthly Scoreboard to view collections per visit alongside other key performance indicators (KPIs) for a specified month.

  2. Patient Management Report

    1. Go to the Patient Management Report to access patient-level data, including financial metrics like collections and visits. Use filters to calculate CVA for specific patient groups if needed.

  3. Custom Reports

    1. Collections per visit statistics can also be customized in the Stats > Custom Reports section. This is ideal for users who want to tailor the calculation to specific time periods, patient segments, or additional filters.

How to Calculate CVA in Custom Reports

    1. Navigate to Stats > Custom Reports.

    2. Either create a new custom report or open an existing one that includes financial and visit data.

  2. Add Necessary Fields:

    1. Total Collections: Represents all collected payments during the specified time period.

    2. Total Visits: Represents all patient visits during the same time period.

  3. Apply the Formula:

    1. Once the data is loaded, calculate Collections Per Visit by dividing the Total Collections by the Total Visits. You can:

    2. Manually calculate the CVA from the displayed totals.

  4. Adjust Time Periods:

    1. Use the time period filters to view CVA for specific date ranges (e.g., monthly, quarterly, or annually).
