Q: I added a provider to our EMR/EHR, but they are not visible in the Provider filter. How do I get the provider to show up on the list?

A:

ChiroTouch: Assign the provider as the primary provider on at least one patient's case. The provider will be visible under Add Provider after the next data sync.

Genesis/Vericle:

  • Make sure the provider has an active flag on the Practitioner ID list. The provider will be visible under Add Provider after the next data sync.

  • Identify the provider details associated with the schedule by locating the Practitioner list in Genesis. It is possible that the provider is associated with a different name.

    • select Search

    • select Providers

    • click on clinic name

    • select Practitioner tab

Q: Why are the filter selections different from the 'All Patients' and the 'Blast' for past dates?

A: The blast will show patients who have had a completed appointment over that time period and the All Patients report will show all patients over that time period whether they had a completed appointment or not. Reschedules, cancellations, and missed are all examples that would lead to incomplete appointments.

Q: Why aren't my filters showing all of my _____?

A: Filters will only show selections from the time period you have selected. For example, if you are on the recall list, look at the last 10 days of patients, who left without an appointment. If you did not have a new patient who left without an appointment, a new patient appointment type will be missing.
