This can happen due to setup or visibility settings in your EMR/EHR or online scheduling configuration. Please review the following:
EMR/EHR Configuration
ChiroTouch:
Assign the provider as the primary provider on at least one patient’s case. The provider will appear under “Add Provider” after the next data sync.
Genesis/Vericle:
Ensure the provider has an active flag on the Practitioner ID list.
The provider will appear under “Add Provider” after the next data sync.
Verify provider details associated with the schedule:
Select Search
Select Providers
Click on the clinic name
Select the Practitioner tab
Note: The provider may be listed under a different name.
Online Scheduling Visibility
If the provider is still not showing up for online scheduling, check the following:
1. Global Availability
Ensure both the provider and their appointment types are marked as “Available for online scheduling.”
2. Day-Specific Blockers
Check for scheduling conflicts or event blocks on that day.
Make sure the provider’s availability does not have the “Unavailable” box checked for that day (even if hours are selected, this will hide them).
3. Overlapping Hours & Overrides
Ensure visit purpose times overlap with the provider’s regular availability hours.
This is especially important if “Override provider availability hours” is enabled.
How to check:
Go to the provider’s online scheduling profile page → Purpose Groups → click the gear icon next to the visit purpose to review hours.
⚠️ Note on Sorting Providers
Providers cannot be manually sorted or forced to appear in a specific order on the online scheduling page.
