How do I disable missed call text/voicemail features in TrackStat?

Disable TrackStat missed call texting and voicemail | Turn off automatic messages for unanswered calls | Stop call routing to TrackStat voicemail

Introduction

If you no longer want TrackStat to send automatic text messages or handle voicemails for missed/unanswered calls, you’ll need to disable the conditional call routing rule set up with your phone carrier.

This stops your business phone line from routing unanswered calls to TrackStat’s voicemail number. Once routing is disabled, TrackStat will no longer receive those calls, and any associated automatic missed-call text messages or voicemail features will stop triggering.

Note: TrackStat’s Missed Call - Text - Voicemail feature (and AI Receptionist Jaz) relies on your carrier routing unanswered calls. Disabling this will prevent TrackStat from capturing and responding to missed calls automatically.

How to Disable Call Routing to TrackStat Voicemail

1. Contact your phone carrier’s support team (the provider that manages your business phone line, such as Verizon Business, AT&T Business, Spectrum, Cox, Frontier or your VoIP provider).

2. Request that they disable conditional call routing (also known as “no answer” or “unanswered call routing”).

3. Provide these specific details when asked:

  • You want to stop routing calls that go unanswered after several rings (typically 5–6 rings).

  • The current routing destination is your TrackStat voicemail number.

Where to find your TrackStat voicemail number

Go to Communications (megaphone icon) > Incoming Communications.

Scroll to the bottom of the Settings section to view the configured TrackStat voicemail number.

What Happens After Disabling Routing

  • TrackStat will no longer receive unanswered calls from your business line.

  • Automatic text messages sent for missed calls will stop.

  • Voicemail handling by TrackStat (including any AI Receptionist Jaz features tied to missed calls) will be inactive for this line.

  • Your phone will ring normally without routing to TrackStat.

  • Note - disabling the conditional call routing does not change your billing. Please reach out to TrackStat support for questions related to billing for the missed call feature.

Important: This change only affects carrier-level routing. It does not disable other TrackStat features like appointment reminders, marketing campaigns, or two-way patient texting.

Troubleshooting Tips

- Ask your phone carrier to deactivate no answer routing.

- After the change, test by calling your business line and letting it ring unanswered. Confirm the call does not go to TrackStat voicemail.

- If you later want to re-enable the feature, simply ask your carrier to re-activate conditional call routing to the same TrackStat voicemail number.
