Where can I find unique patients who had a visit in a time period?

Use the Visit Date filter on the Patient Management report to get a unique patient headcount instead of a total visit count

Often clinics want to see how many unique patients they are seeing rather than how many total visits they had as many patients have multiple appointments during a day, week or month.

The Patient Management report can be used to calculate the number of unique patients who had a visit during a specific day, week or month.

Open the Patient Management Report.

Select the "Visit Date" filter and adjust the start and end dates at the top of the report as needed.

The number of patients on the report will be displayed in blue in the upper left corner.

The report can be filtered even further using the filter selections in the upper left corner as well.

If you would like to identify patients who have exceeded a certain number of visits, you can use the Patient Management report and sort or filter the Total Visits column in either ascending or descending order.

Unique patient statistics are also available in Stats > Custom Reports, however the Patient Management Report can be used to see lots of data about each patient.
