Would you like more patient referrals? Try sending referrable content to your patients

Have you ever noticed that sharing something on social media is more straightforward than getting a patient to refer you to a friend, neighbor, or colleague?

The reason is that social media is built around sharable content, so why reinvent the wheel?

What kind of content should you create?

  1. A short video explanation/demonstration about a therapy you offer in the office with a call to action at the end. Initially, you need to state who this video is for and what they will learn by watching it. At the end, ask them to share this with someone they know suffering with _____.

  2. A short video about a condition you commonly see and treat in the office. It could be: "Please share this video with anyone suffering from headaches or migraines. Then shortly explain what you do for headaches, why it's unique, and how they can take action.

If you had a handful of videos you created that were sent out on various visits to your patients on a drip, you would make it easy for them to share this with someone.

How do you record the video?

I like www.loom.com because the video link automatically turns into a thumbnail on email, and if pasted at the beginning of the text, it does as well for some phones. You can place a call to action button at the end of the video with nothing else.

Youtube.com is free, but at the end of the video, you could have your competition videos as the end of the video. www.vimeo.com or www.wistia.com are other options but are significantly higher than loom.com

Loom allows you to record part of your screen with your webcam simultaneously. You can also record these videos on your cell phone and upload them to loom, youtube or vimeo as well.

Let's Show You How To Set This Up

First, find the marketing icon and go to DRIPS

Next, filter by LAST VISIT

Next, select a secondary filter

  • Active/Inactive

  • Age

  • Future Appointment

  • Total Paid

  • Tags (include + or exclude - ) (you can exclude 'not qualified' patients)

  • Appointment Purpose

  • TOTAL VISITS (use this filter)

Pick which visits you want these messages to be sent to. For some, you may decide to send an email, and others could be a cell phone. If those patients opt out, they opt out of everything, which is one of the purposes of tags.

Next, create your message and enable the campaign

Good luck,
