Checking the "Start" box adds an "np start" tag to the patient and adds the patient to the Weekly Patients report for tracking.
Open the Patient Management report to see a list of your new patients. Sort the list by the Total Visits column by clicking on the column header to see how many visits each patient has had and how many future visits they have scheduled. Then check the Start box for patients that have started on care. Give the system a few minutes and then you will see activity on the "started" line on the new patient graph on the dashboard.
Note: Patients with care packages in ChiroTouch are automatically assigned the start tag and added to the Weekly Patients report.
Why Didn't My Patient Get Added To The Weekly Patients Report?
If a patient was 'inactive' or 'deceased' or 'discharged' in the EHR, they will not be added to the weekly patients report
If the patient has not completed a visit within 12 months, they will also not be added to the report
