Most clinics use TrackStat's new patient start automation tool to automatically assign patients a "np start" tag who meet specified criteria. This will automatically populate these patients on the Weekly Patients report.
If there is a situation in which a clinic would like to manually add the "np start" tag to patients instead of using the automation, then check out the tips below.
Go to the Patient Management report
Select the First Visit Date filter from the dropdown at the top of the report.
Adjust the First Visit Start Date at the top of the report to see the last few months of new patients.
Then click on the Total Visits column header two times to sort the data in descending order. Patients with the most visits should be at the top of the page. These are most likely your recent new patients that have started care.
Check the "Start (weekly)" ☑ box for those patients. Patients will be added to the Weekly Patients report.
