Q: Why should I use the cancelled/missed report, when I could use the recall list?
A: It is usually easier to reschedule a cancelled or missed appointment, than scheduling someone who dropped out of your practice. Especially, if you use reasons why they cancelled. A patient who cancelled because they were sick will schedule if you follow up with them a couple of days later.
Q: What is the Cancelled/Missed report used for?
A: It identifies patients who canceled, missed, or rescheduled appointments within a specified timeframe.
Q: How is the rescheduled percentage calculated?
A: The number of unique patients with a future appointment divided by the total unique patients in the timeframe.
Q: How are total Rescheduled appointments calculated?
A: Add the number of unique patients with a “Rescheduled” status or “Scheduled” contact status.
Q: Can I remove patients from the Cancelled/Missed report?
A: Patients cannot be removed but will only appear based on the date range set at the top of the report.
To filter patients indefinitely, tag them and exclude them using tag filters.
