Blast Campaign
A one-time bulk message sent to a selected audience, either immediately or at a scheduled time.
Audience
The group of recipients selected using filters (for example, Active Patients) and loaded into the blast.
Load Audience
The action that populates recipients into the blast based on selected filters. A blast cannot send without a loaded audience.

Designated Time
A scheduled future date and time when a blast is set to send.
Rules and Constraints
A blast will not send unless it is enabled.
A blast will not send if no audience is loaded.
A blast scheduled for a designated time must be enabled before that time.
If a campaign was duplicated from an older blast, it may not send due to product updates.
You cannot edit or resend a blast that has already been sent.
To resend or correct a blast, you must copy the campaign and send the copy.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Enable a Blast Campaign
Open the blast campaign.
Locate the toggle in the top-right corner of the screen.
Switch the toggle from Off to On.
Why this matters: Disabled campaigns never send, even if they are scheduled.
Load an Audience
Open the blast campaign.
Select the appropriate audience filters (for example, Active Patients).
Click Load to populate recipients.
Confirm the audience count is greater than zero.
Save the campaign.
Why this matters: Saving a blast without loading an audience prevents it from sending.
Send a Blast Immediately
Open the blast campaign.
Load the audience.
In message schedule, select Now.
Enable the campaign.
Schedule a Blast for a Future Time
Open the blast campaign.
Load the audience.
Select Designated Time in scheduling messages.

Fix a Blast That Did Not Send
If a blast did not send:
Confirm the scheduled time is still in the future.
Confirm the campaign is enabled.
Confirm an audience is loaded.
If the above steps did not work, try this:
Copy the campaign by going to Marketing campaigns (megaphone icon) > Blasts. Find the blast campaign you’d like to copy and click the copy icon (the two overlapping paper sheets).
Rename it (for example, add "V2").
Reload the audience filters.
Update the scheduled time if needed.
Save and enable the new campaign.
Correct or Resend a Sent Blast
If a blast was sent with the wrong message:
Copy the campaign by going to Marketing campaigns (megaphone icon) > Blasts. Find the blast campaign you’d like to copy and click the copy icon (the two overlapping paper sheets).
Reload the audience.
Update the message content.
Schedule the blast for a future time.
Save and enable the copied campaign.

You know a blast is set up correctly when:
The campaign toggle shows On
An audience count is visible
The scheduled time is in the future (if scheduled)
The campaign report shows sent and delivered messages after sending
FAQs
I sent a blast with the wrong message. How do I fix it?
You cannot change a sent blast. Copy the campaign, update the message, and send the copy.
How do I check if a campaign was sent?
Open the campaign and view the report. It shows how many messages were sent and received.
Why didn’t my scheduled blast send?
Most often, the campaign was not enabled before the scheduled time or no audience was loaded.
Can I reuse an old blast campaign?
Yes, in most cases you can duplicate the old campaign and make edits. If your old campaign was on an older version of blast campaigns, you will have to re-create it from scratch.
What happens if I enable a blast after the scheduled time?
The blast will not send. You must copy it and schedule it for a future time.
